Together ‘23 Messages

In July of 2023, we held our annual Together Retreat where our family of churches Sovereign Grace Church Sydney and Sovereign Grace Church Parramatta came together for a weekend of teaching, fellowship and ministry. It was a sweet time away, where we had the opportunity to sit under the teaching of Riley Spring (National Direction of SGCs Australia), Mark Prater (Executive Director of SGCs) and Brendan Willis (Pastor at SGC Sydney), who all taught on the theme: Zealous for the Name of Christ. We were reminded of God’s call on our lives to “not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord” (Romans 12:11) and we were challenged to take up the fight in diligently stoking the fire of zeal in our hearts, by the power of the Spirit.
